Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of the ScrapeNow website, desktop application, and hosted extraction service, published by Automation Campus. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your sign-in account secure, and be legally able to enter this agreement. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

3. Authorized use

You may use ScrapeNow only for websites and data you are legally permitted to access and process. You are responsible for complying with applicable law, privacy and intellectual-property rights, contractual restrictions, and the target website's terms and technical access rules.

You must not use ScrapeNow to gain unauthorized access, bypass access controls or CAPTCHAs, collect credentials, distribute malware, cause excessive load, harass individuals, or process data for an unlawful purpose. Assisted mode enables legitimate manual navigation; it is not permission to defeat a website's protections.

4. The service

The desktop application captures and stores workflow data locally. Requested extraction work is sent to a hosted service and may be processed by third-party AI providers. Output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your intended use, and you must review it before relying on it.

5. Plans, credits, and payments

Paid features use plans or credits described at purchase. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and grant the stated credit allowance after a successful payment. Subscription credits roll over for one additional billing cycle and then expire. Top-up credits are non-expiring and can be purchased without a subscription. Promotional, subscription, and top-up credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred unless we expressly allow it.

Upgrades may take effect immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You may manage or cancel a subscription through Stripe's billing portal. Prices are shown before Checkout; applicable taxes and supported local-currency pricing may be calculated by Stripe.

Completed purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Approved refunds can revoke unused credits associated with the purchase. Contact support for duplicate charges, disputed transactions, or a payment made in error.

6. Availability and beta features

We may change models, limits, features, or service providers to maintain quality and security. Beta features may be modified or discontinued and may contain defects. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or successful capture of every website.

7. Ownership

Automation Campus and its licensors retain rights in ScrapeNow, its software, branding, and service. You retain rights you hold in your source material and results. You grant us the limited permission needed to process submitted content solely to operate, secure, and support the requested service.

8. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access for material breach, unlawful or abusive use, security risk, unpaid charges, or where required by law. You may stop using ScrapeNow and request account deletion at any time.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, ScrapeNow is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or guaranteed extraction accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Automation Campus is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for ScrapeNow during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing terms and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of France, without limiting mandatory consumer protections available in your country. We may update these terms prospectively by publishing a revised date. Questions can be sent to reda@automation-campus.com.
