Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated July 26, 2026.

1. Who we are

ScrapeNow is published by Automation Campus. This policy explains how the ScrapeNow desktop application, website, and hosted extraction service handle personal data. Contact us at hello@scrapenow.app.

2. Information we process

Account data includes your email address, account identifier, name, profile image, authentication provider, and session information supplied through Supabase Auth and an enabled sign-in provider such as Google.

Service data includes job status, selected effort and operation, token and credit usage, sanitized errors, source references, and the structured result returned by a hosted extraction job. Support requests include the information you choose to send us.

When paid plans are enabled, our payment processor may handle billing identity, payment method, transaction, and invoice information. ScrapeNow does not receive or store complete payment card numbers.

3. Data that stays local

Browser cookies, website login credentials, browser sessions, captured Markdown, local workflow history, structured results retrieved by the app, and exports are stored on your device unless you choose to move or share them. ScrapeNow does not upload your local SQLite database.

4. Hosted extraction data

To perform AI extraction or pagination discovery, the desktop app uploads the reduced Markdown chunks, requested field schema or pagination instructions, operation type, selected internal effort mapping, and source base URL when needed. This content may contain personal data present on the page you chose to process.

Raw Markdown chunks are held temporarily in Redis for no longer than one hour and are deleted sooner after a job completes, fails, or is cancelled. Structured result JSON is available through the hosted service for up to 24 hours. Usage, credit ledger, security, and audit records may be retained longer for account, fraud-prevention, accounting, and legal purposes.

5. Why we process data

We process data to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, complete requested extraction work, maintain credits and billing records, respond to support, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Depending on your location, our legal bases include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where requested, and compliance with law.

6. Service providers and transfers

We use service providers for authentication and database hosting, cloud application hosting, AI model processing, sign-in, payment processing when enabled, and operational support. Current core providers include Supabase, Railway, Google, and enabled AI model providers. Stripe may process paid-plan transactions. These providers process data under their own terms and may operate outside your country.

We do not sell personal information or use uploaded extraction content for advertising.

7. Your choices and rights

You can delete local ScrapeNow data from your device. You may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity, and some ledger or transaction records must be retained where required by law.

8. Security, children, and changes

We use access controls, encrypted transport, short retention for uploaded content, and hosted secret management, but no system can guarantee absolute security. ScrapeNow is not directed to children under 16. We may update this policy as the product changes and will publish the revised date here.
